Dear Odoo community,

I have recently installed the WhatsApp integration in Odoo, and everything is working well for sending messages from Odoo. However, I would like to link my WhatsApp account in Odoo to my phone so that I can manage messages on both my phone and in Odoo.

Is there a way to generate a QR code in Odoo for linking to WhatsApp Web, similar to how you would normally connect WhatsApp Web on your desktop? Currently, I don't see an option for this in the interface. Do I need to install a specific module or adjust certain settings to enable this functionality?

Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Dear Davy,

Unfortunately, the standard Odoo WhatsApp integration doesn't currently support linking your phone for synchronized messaging. There's no QR code option.

You might explore third-party Odoo modules for additional features or consider manual management for now.

I would add that this limitation is not from Odoo but from Meta themselves who do not allow the business accounts to be both used with an app (or integration) and on their mobile app at the same time.

Another way you can use it is with the Odoo mobile app; messages come in as chats in the app, so you can respond from your phone as you like.
