Akkarouna is a women-led non-governmental organization based in Tripoli, Lebanon, dedicated to promoting socio-economic development by empowering women, youth, and children. For over a decade, the organization has delivered impactful programs across key sectors including health, education, and livelihood, while also focusing on protection, social stability, and governance. Its core value lies in fostering inclusive, community-driven development and supporting vulnerable populations through capacity building, awareness, and access to essential services. However, Akkarouna faced operational challenges due to using multiple disconnected systems for accounting, inventory, and document management, leading to inefficiencies, duplicated work, and inconsistent data. To address this, Azkatech proposed implementing an Odoo-based ERP solution focused on accounting and finance to unify operations. The solution included automated invoicing, financial reporting, multi-currency support, donor and project-based accounting, and compliance with international standards. This enabled Akkarouna to streamline financial processes, improve transparency, and manage its programs more efficiently through a centralized and integrated system.
