تبدأ القصة في ١٤٣٧ هجرية حين قررنا أن ننشئ موقعاً لبيع الكتب بعد أن أصبحت لدينا خبرة سنوات طويلة في القراءة وتوفير مصادر الكتب من دور النشر المختلفة والمكتبات القديمة في القاهرة وبيروت وبغداد والدار البيضاء، وكان الهدف منه يومئذ تيسير الكتب القيمة للقراء، والتي تتوفر أحياناً في المكتبات وفي أغلب الأحيان لا تتوفر لنفادها، فضلاً عن الكتب غير الموجودة بتاتاً، غير أن المشروع تأجل لأسباب عديدة، ولم ينفك ذلك الحلم يراودنا حتى أصبح كالهاجس... ثم صح منا العزم في سنة ١٤٤٠ هجرية أن نبدأ في المشروع، والآن تحقق حلمنا ولله الحمد، ونأمل أن يحقق أحلامكم أيضاً في اقتناء كتب لم تتيسر لكم قبل اليوم، ليكون حلماً تتوالد منه الأحلام كما تتوالد الأنوار من قرص الشمس في رابعة النهار.Vente en gros / Vente au détail
