Mano Mining & Logistics Limited is a Sierra Leonean-owned multi-disciplinary company with expertise spanning engineering, infrastructure, construction, geotechnical surveys, mining, procurement, logistics, and project management. With over 70 years of combined industry experience among its founding members, the company takes pride in delivering a competitive edge to clients in both the public and private sectors. Recently awarded a mining services contract at Sierra Rutile Limited’s Lanti-Gbeni site, Mano handles comprehensive mining and engineering operations. Initially using QuickBooks for financial records and Excel for payroll, the company aims to automate and integrate operations with a unified ERP system. Partnering with Azkatech, an Odoo Gold Partner, Mano Mining & Logistics implemented an ERP solution covering Finance, Inventory, Production, Work Order Management, Fleet Management, and HR. This ERP system enhanced payroll, invoicing, procurement, and asset management, while integrating fleet and equipment maintenance, resource planning, employee self-service, and timesheets. The robust ERP supports data-driven decisions, and scales with Mano’s growth trajectory.

Company background: Vital Equity Group is a limited liability company registered in Sierra Leone and established in May 2024 by a team of 13 professionals with diverse expertise in fields such as Mining Engineering, Biochemistry, Medicine, Survey, Civil Engineering, IT, and Finance. As the founder, chairman, majority shareholder, and finance director, I bring my experience as a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) UK. I have implemented Oddo for our group of companies and have been using the Odoo Community for the last three months. I am now ready to extend services to other organisations.Type of services: Financial management, budgeting, forecasting, chart of account creation and set-up, and cost efficiency analysis.
Size of our company: Vital Equity Group is an equity firm, which has 13 shareholders, including me and has four 100% owned subsidiary entities (namely, Vital Pharmaceuticals, Vital Survey, Vital Care, and Vital Fishing).
Kind of customers: We started by setting up a fully functional Oddo platform for our company and its subsidiaries in one database, and we are now looking to extend this service to SMEs and middle-sized companies.
Are you working with Oddo? Yes, I have established a fully functional group account in the Community Version for Vital Equity Group, which will be transitioned to the Enterprise Version soon.
If you have any customers: At this point, Vital Equity Group is the only customer ready to go, but I have two prospects that I expect to close by the end of this month (October 2024).
