Das Unternehmen Trimada befindet sich in Wohlen. Trimada stellt elektronische Systeme und Komponenten her. Das Kerngeschäft ist das Entwickeln und die Fertigung von kundenspezifischen Lösungen. Zu ihren Produkten gehören Bediensysteme wie Kurzhubtastaturen, Folientastaturen, Kapazitive Tastaturen, Beleuchtungen und serielle Schnittstellen. Zudem verkauft das Unternehmen Automationskomponenten. Die Trimada stellt alle ihre Produkte selbst und in der Schweiz her. Bei einer Entwicklung eines Gerätes übernimmt die Trimada von Grund auf die Entwicklung der Hard- und Software, die Konstruktion, das Design, die Herstellung und Prüfung, die Logistik und auch den After-Sales-Service.Das ERP-System Odoo wurde bei der Trimada 2011 eingeführt. Zuerst wurde die Version 6 von Odoo und jetzt die Version 7 benutzt. Nach der Evaluation von verschiedener ERP-Software entschied sich das Unternehmen aufgrund vom Open Source Gedanken sowie auch aus dem Grund, dass keine Lizenzkosten anfallen, das ERP-System Odoo einzusetzen.
