Invoice Stripe ACH Payments

At the time of payment, many online payments ask for card details like debit card or credit card, based on requirement. Now think if you will be able to do all payments from your bank account. Invoice Stripe ACH Payments is especially crafted for this purpose. This application allows you to do payments using user Bank Accounts. Users can pay using their bank account via ACH Payment.

ACH Payments, called an Automated Clearing House, accepts bank account payments from customers via ACH. If you are a US-based Stripe user, you can receive USD payments directly from a customer's bank account instead of a credit or debit card by using Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments.

This module is compatible with

Direct Payment

Customers can do payment directly with a bank account and routing number using stripe ACH

Payment Token

Customers can save their confidential payment token in case they want to use it later on in future

Customers can pay the invoice amount using stripe ACH

Configuration

Invoicing -> Payments -> Payment Acquirer Add Stripe Secret Key and Publishable Key on payments acquirer configuration.

Add Bank Account for ACH Payment

Customer bank accounts require verification. When using Stripe ACH, Stripe automatically sends two small deposits for this purpose. These deposits take 1-2 business days to appear on the customers online statement. Customers can add a micro-deposit amount by clicking on the icon after entering the amount the customer can verify their bank account.  For adding a bank account go to My Account -> Manage your stripe ACH accounts.

Click on the 'Add new bank account' button, it will open the ACH checkout box.

Customer bank accounts require verification. When using Stripe ACH, Stripe automatically sends two small deposits for this purpose. These deposits take 1-2 business days to appear on the customers online statement. Customer can add micro-deposit amount by click on icon after enter amount customer can verify there bank account.

System cron is run every 2 Hours for check bank verification. If you have a verified bank account you can start charging using a bank account.

Payment with Stripe ACH

ACH payments take up to 5 business days to receive acknowledgment of their success or failure.  Because of this, ACH payments take up to 7 business days to be reflected in user available Stripe balance.  Select invoice and stripe payment acquirer with Payment using ACH, click on pay now button, it will open stripe ACH checkout box.

Saved payment token will be displayed on the checkout box, select payment token and click 'pay now' button.

Click on 'Pay Now' then-new transaction is created and invoice goes to 'approval' stage.

Schedule Action

Schedule action is automatically executed on a daily basis. Using this action system will automatically check 'pending' transactions with Stripe payment. All the invoice will be automatically paid in Odoo if a stripe payment transaction is done.

Invoice Payment

Once scheduled action runs and gets 'success' status from stripe then the transaction will go to 'done' stage and invoice will be paid.

Does this module allow the eCommerce payment?

No, this module does not provide this feature.

How many days to receive acknowledgment of payment success or failure?

ACH payments take up to 5 business days to receive acknowledgment of their success or failure. Because of this, ACH payments take up to 7 business days to be reflected in user available Stripe balance.

Do I need to install additional modules/ libraries for using this module?

Yes, Before start Odoo server need to install stripe python package. Installation Command : pip3 install stripe
