Hi,
There is no default option available to switch between portal layouts. You can achieve this by customizing the system or by using any third party app, which provides such a feature.
If you need to customize by yourself, you can check out this open pull request in odoo repository, which is an attempt to revamp the odoo portal for newer version: https://github.com/odoo/odoo/pull/73127
