I would like to send my customers automated emails when their tickets get to specific stages, is that possible?

Yes, that's possible by following these steps:

1. Go to your desired helpdesk team.

2. Click on the gear icon next to the stage and click on Edit:



3. In the Email Template field enter the email template that you would like to send once a tickets gets to that stage (you can create additional custom email templates):
