I am adding some links on my website, but for some reason, instead of opening the url in a new tab, it is opening the email system. This is happening on odoo 16. Any tips?

Thank you Paresh; the issue was as you said but the problem it was showing in the link option. But it seems the text was copied from another destination and the email to was embedded in it for some reason. I had to recreate the link and the problem was solved. Thanks you...
Hi Jade:
Check whether the links start with a "mailto:" in them. "mailto:" links will trigger this behavior on the desktop.
