We are facing a strange situation with v16 subscriptions on Odoo online (SaaS). The Invoices are getting automatically generated and are being marked as sent. However, some of the invoices are not getting logged in the chatter. The message log (Settings > Technical > Messages) has records for these notifications. As a result, we have no idea whether these Invoices were actually sent without contacting the customer.

We will be logging a support ticket but am also posting here to see if we can get a quicker resolution.

Yes. It was a bug that has supposedly been fixed. Following is a quote from the response received on Mar 17, 2023.

Indeed, there is a bug that the invoices are sent but the e-mail does not appear to be sent in the chatter. This wrong behavior is happening if there is no Quotation Template selected in the Sales Order.
Kindly note, we are aware of the issue and our internal team is already working on it. It should be fixed next week (Monday/Tuesday). What would be the fix? The sent e-mails should appear in the chatter even if there is no Quotation Template selected on the Sales Order.

similar problem at our end , and our customer not receive the email at all
