Hi everyone,

I'm trying to use OpenERP 7 and have some problems understanding the logic of the project management module.

I read already this : doc.openerp.com/7.0/book/4/4_13_Projects/4_13_Projects_management/ and that : openerp.co.za/7/modules/project.html

This helped me understand the basic concepts but it apparently is not enough to get started.

1) First, I created a project.

2) Then, I created a task, that I assigned to the project

3) Then I wanted to set up the duration of the task... but did not find how to do it! In the "Extra info" tab, I could set the priority, the start date, but not the duration...

In the book, there is a screenshot of a task (doc.openerp.com/7.0/book/4/4_13_Projects/4_13_Projects_management/#managing-tasks) where you can select the work to be performed, the progress, etc. I don't see those options. Is there another module I need to install?

When you go to settings -> project do you have 'Manage time estimation on tasks' and 'Log work activities on tasks' checked? If I remember well, that is the setting you are looking for.
