Is there a particular version of Open Office that openerp_report_designer.zip is compatible with? I am running version 3.4.1 and it doesn't seem to recognize the extension.

Interesting... I got the Open Office openerp_report_designer.zip extension to work under LibreOffice under Ubuntu, but I still have not figured out how to make it work with Windows 7 and Open Office.
Now I've just got to figure out the install on the base_report_designer install on the openerp server. Ubuntu under a VMware Player recognizes the Windows 7 server, but comes up with the error message "Please install base_report_designer module" when I try to connect from LibreOffice to the openerp server. I guess that is a separate question.

Hi you need to rename the file extension as .zip as the contents are zipped and you can install this extension in openoffice writer.
