Dear Community Members,


I hope you're all doing well. I'm encountering an issue with my sale quotation template—it appears to have deviated from the default format, and I'm unsure how to restore it. Could anyone please provide guidance on how to revert the sale order PDF template to its default settings?

Even with downgrade issue still exists. (wkhtmltox_0.12.5-1.bionic_amd64.de)

Reports for quotation font sizes are to big and some areas look still wrong.

Testet on Debian 12 Install with Enterprise Edition and also on Ubuntu 22.04 with same database....

Hi,

This is the issue may be causing due to the wkhtmltopdf package issue. Please uninstall you current wkhtmltopdf package and install it again. You can use the below code
sudo wget https://github.com/wkhtmltopdf/wkhtmltopdf/releases/download/0.12.5/wkhtmltox_0.12.5-1.bionic_amd64.deb
sudo dpkg -i wkhtmltox_0.12.5-1.bionic_amd64.deb
sudo apt install -f

And also check the report URL sPlease verify that all the URLs in the system parameter is same as your URL Settings -> Technical -> parameters -> system parameters


On searching URL you can see the below options. verify the URLs are same as your URL

Thank you for valuable comment but what I have found is there is no pdf report error if I install the Odoo on Ubuntu with ISO File. If I install the Odoo on Ubuntu with Docker Image, the error is occurred. Please what is the best solution for Docker Image. I'm looking forward to hearing from you. Have a great day.

Hi,

Is this problem persists with  all the reports generated from the system ? If yes, you can add report.url in the system parameters and add its value as your ip:port and see if it resolves the issue.

Try to reset quotation report

  • Odoo EE: by using Odoo Studio App
    Sale / Quotations -> click Studio icon -> Reports -> Quotation/Order -> Reset report
  • Odoo CE: active debug mode
    Setting / Technical / Views -> search "report_saleorder_document" -> select view -> click gear icon -> Compare/Reset

Hi, I’ve tried many different methods to solve the same issue. Eventually, I found a solution that worked for me. I had multiple databases running on the same port, so I removed all unnecessary databases, leaving only one, and then restarted the server. This approach resolved the problem and generated all PDF reports in the correct format. I’m not sure if this will work for you, but you might consider trying it as well.
