I can't use my own account, I can only link to social media accounts.

Ensure you have the Permissions of Social Marketing: Social Manager assigned to your user (Settings -> Users & Companies --> *select your User*). You wont see the Configuration menuitem with less permissions.

Ensure you refresh (i.e. F5 or Ctrl + R) the page once you've granted yourself or received the necessary access rights, since the menuitems wont update automatically!


If you also don't have access to mange the User permissions, talk to someone in your Company who does.

Hi,

The Social Marketing app in Odoo doesn’t include its own Configuration → Settings menu. Instead, you configure it through the main Settings app and by using its built-in menus like Social Accounts and Social Streams
