I'll be the first to admit I know JUST enough to get me into trouble.. However, we're a small business, and we've nobody else to handle this stuff.


Long story short.. I've been trying to get Odoo V10 hosted on AWS, to connect with our onsite MS Exchange server.  I keep getting the following error, and this is the furthest I get among a bunch of timeouts if I change any settings.... :


Connection Test Failed! Here is what we got instead:

_ssl.c:510: error:140770FC:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:unknown protocol


Does anyone have any clues on this one..? I'm completely lost, and losing my mind.  I appreciate ANY help anyone has to offer.. as for sharing links.. I've clicked on EVERY SINGLE ONE involving MS Exchange, and Odoo.  There's about (3) of them, total.

Hi Sean

Not sure if anyone responded privately on this but get SMTP tested and working on your exchange server then use exact same settings in Odoo.  Also make sure you open respective ports on AWS firewall page.
