Our customers usually order a yearly quantity to be delivered on different days. I would like to define the delivery days for the product with the desired quantities in one sale order under the product lines, otherwise a production order will be generated with the total quantity. Kind of the same as in the purchasing module, where you can define the delivery date per product. Splitting the production order is also not a solution, as the subassemblies are not split automatically.
The best would be to define as in the purchase modul a framework contract and create different deliveries in there...

When you create a Sale order, on sheet Other information, you may select:
Shipping Policy: Deliver each product when available
And
Create Invoice: On Delivery Order
In this case you provide separately products and invoice each on delivery.
