Hi I am new to using the CRM and I want to add my own fields to the new customer card - where it has customer, email, phone etc. Can you please advise how I do this.

What edition are you using? community or enterprise?
if you are adding the enterprise edition , you can add fields easily through Odoo studio, while if you are using the community edition you would need to add the fields first to the database and them show them on the user interface through the external python modules.
