Paintcam Industries S.A is a leading industrial paint and coatings manufacturer based in Cameroon, serving a growing network of agencies, warehouses, commercial teams, and production operations. With a strong presence in the Cameroonian market, Paintcam manages complex business processes involving raw materials, production formulas, finished goods, procurement, sales, customer credit, logistics, accounting, and management reporting.Challenges:
As Paintcam continued to grow, the company needed stronger operational visibility, better traceability, and a more integrated system capable of connecting its departments in real time. Managing procurement approvals, supplier follow-up, stock across agencies and warehouses, manufacturing operations, customer credit limits, collection follow-up, accounting readiness, and reporting through disconnected tools created challenges in control, decision-making, and daily execution.
The company also required a structured transition from its existing Sage environment to a scalable ERP platform, while ensuring proper user adoption, governance, training, and internal enforcement across departments.
Solution:
ERP Cloud partnered with Paintcam Industries S.A to implement a controlled Odoo ERP foundation covering the company’s core operational flows. The project includes CRM, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Manufacturing, Accounting Foundation, Analytic Accounting, Quality Control, Reporting, HR Foundation, and structured support for the parallel run with Sage.
The implementation is designed to provide Paintcam with real-time visibility over stock, production, sales, receivables, supplier operations, customer payment behavior, and management dashboards. It also introduces clear workflows, role-based access rights, traceability across business documents, and a governance framework to support adoption by key users and department owners.
Through this Odoo implementation in Cameroon, ERP Cloud is helping Paintcam build a scalable digital backbone for industrial operations, improve decision-making, strengthen internal control, and prepare the company for future expansion across additional agencies and group entities.
