Odoo policy and versions

Question

Hi
i want ask about Odoo policy, which version can i use it for free in my webserver where i need to develop addons  .  Enterprise version for 480$ if users <=5 . at same time there is version at githab ?! is it for free and what different. Also what different between community version and Enterprise version.

Hello,
You can use any version that suit your needs.
With Odoo 9 came two versions of Odoo: Community Edition "CE" and Enterprise Edition EE.
The CE is the one that is available on the Github. The EE comes with additional features/modules and support.
