i create a new group with the access right of custom menu, then create a new user put in the group.
but when i login with the new user, i can't see any menu.
the menu can been seen when i login with admin.
i develop with openerp 7.0 on win7.

Have you checked the menu-tab on the newly created group? Provided your new user only has that group, he/she can only see what is defined within that group.
If you did then check if the administrator has the menu available.

i have found the problem. the menu controll can't been used independent。 that should used with the access rights together。
when i gave the object access right, the menu showed.
