I am trying to generate opening balances for new financial year but I keep getting a memory error even when few people are using the ERP.
Is there a way to solve this without having to purchase RAM?
I am using the Community version 7.
Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software.

You can tweak the Odoo parameters to decrease memory usage: https://www.odoo.com/documentation/10.0/setup/deploy.html (that will however probably decrease performance.)
Also, how much RAM does your machine have? The Odoo config sample suggest that you need ~3GB RAM for 60(!) concurrent users.
It could be that your memory limits are too low, as Odoo will raise memory errors, when it would need more memory than it is allowed.
