Hi , i am cretaing an SQL based report and written a query to retrieve the image from postgresql database, the images are not getting displayed when i call report from openerp but images are getting displayed in pentaho report designer , how the fix the issue

Ok I understand. Are you using the openerp report engine? If yes I can't help you. Otherwise, if you're working with pentaho-repor-for OpenERP, I had the same issue as yours and I solved it there : https://github.com/WillowIT/Pentaho-reports-for-OpenERP/issues/81#issuecomment-31108094 . Moreover, considering using pentaho-report-fo openerp is a good workaround fo all reporting aspects.
