Hello, I'm currently using Odoo 15 Community Version. So, how do I prevent my staff from deleting records? Like sales records or contact records. When I'm editing the access rights and record rules, my user gets edited at the same time.


How should I do it?

You're right. But, it affects my user as an administrator too. So, should I make another group or are there any settings for my staff user?

Create new group and add model which users cannot delete and map that groups for that users

Hello,

 You can  just untick delete access from particular Groups.Settings->groups->Your groups->Access Rights

You can untick for particular models.
