I am creating a task in Projects from Sales Order by having a product, Service> create a task under an existing project. 

Sometimes this task appeared in FS, and sometimes it does not. 

Can someone please help to make it consistent or what is the best practice to change SO to FS?

you have product (service type). when you do not get new task after SO confirmation? because normally after SO confirmations(from your configuration) we have to get task.

I found the answer to my question. In order to have a task converted from SO to Projects and FS, you gotta open a project from the FS first.

I do have a product service type that creates a task under an existing project. It just does not appear in Field Service. How do i get it to appear in FS?
