I would like to keep all my spreadsheets in one place and I would like to be able to pull information directly from the database into spreadsheets, this allows me to create different types of reports without having to export first to Excel. Does Odoo's Spreadsheets have enough functionality?

The benefit of using Odoo's spreadsheets is  that it allows you to pull live information from different models in the database in different types of reports easily; pivot, grave, list view, etc...


In addition to that Odoo's spreadsheets has most if not all of the commonly used functionality that you would need, for example:

1. You can insert rows, columns, and cells:

3. You can insert and design charts:


4. You can insert Pivot tables:


5. You can upload images:


6. You can insert and design tables:


7. You can use formulas and functions:


8. You can inserts Links, Checkboxes, Dropdown Lists, and Comments:

10. Create filters and share the spreadsheet:


11. You can insert information directly from different models and view:
