I have configured my mail server in odoo11. The test showed that connection is successful. But when I send any email it doesn't go from the email of the logged in user but goes through the configured email id.
Also I cannot receive any emails as reply to id is not going correct. Do I have to configure separate income mail servers for each user?? I donot have a catchall email id.
Can anyone tell me if there are any other steps that need to be followed ?
hi.. yes you have to configure separate email servers for every user.. you can use catchall so for setting an alias for all the user with different headstarts for them..
or you can simply configure the incoming and outgoing email servers for each & every user.. it will solve your problem

The configured address will be the from address AFIK. Maybe you need to configure each for users.
