I am using the web module in OpenERP. How can I set it up so when I type www.metalpros.com, the URL becomes www.metalpros.com and not metalpros.my.openerp.com?

Were you able to resolve this?
For this to work you would need to install odoo / openerp in your own server then update your DNS and point www.metalpros.com to the IP address of your server. Not sure if the hosted version provides http virtual hosts for your domain.

@Hariharan, I believe you can do this with SaaS as well, however you need to contact the sales team to discuss. From what I understand it requires an enterprise account not in the free online offer. I'd recommend contacting them here: https://www.odoo.com/page/contactus
