I imported Company Customers from another Database Via XML-RPC which i used the folowing code: http://pastebin.com/8UNbQsrt

Which works just fine. I used the admin user for this. and as the admin user i can see the customers. But I am unable to see it as any other user. I checked all Customer's company_id is the same as ours, and the users are under the company. so why dont they see the company's customer?

and multi company is set on.

EDIT: even newlry created customers with the admin user wont appear under any user!
EDIT2: Seems like non of my users cant create any customer at all, even thought they have write access on res.partner!

I have the same issue only I used the company import feature. I was told it was a bug related to multi company, but I am not using multi company, never the less I installed the patches but with no change. I did a completely new install thinking maybe it was a permissions issue from setup. Completely fresh Ubuntu 12.04 on an empty server still the same issue. I have been trying to work out this issue for about 3 weeks. Either there is a "toggle" I can't find or it is a bug involving imports.

Edit The same issue exist without having done an import. Companies created by admin in the settings/companies section are not seen by other users. Companies created in sales/customer/is company by admin are seen by other users. Companies created by other users in the sales/customer/is company section are not seen by admin user in settings/companies section......reported as a bug

as i found out this is caused by a bug by the portal module.

if your users have portal acces thick it off and it should work.
