This is a known issue when trying to connect BNP Paribas in Odoo 18 via the bank synchronization service. A couple of points you should check:

1. Check if BNP Paribas is supported in your region
   • Odoo uses third-party providers (mainly Plaid or Salt Edge) for bank feeds. Not every BNP Paribas branch or country endpoint is available yet. Sometimes only “BNP Paribas Fortis” (Belgium) or other regional APIs are supported.
   • Go to Accounting → Configuration → Online Synchronization, click Add a Bank, and search again carefully for “BNP”. You may see multiple entries.
2. Update your Odoo database and modules
   • In some builds of v18 CE/EE, the bank integration list was outdated. Update your account_online_sync module and refresh the providers list.
3. Use the alternative PSD2 connection
   • BNP Paribas usually requires PSD2-compliant API connections. If you can’t connect directly, configure via Salt Edge PSD2 and use your BNP online banking credentials there.
4. Fallback: Manual statement import
   • If BNP Paribas is not supported in your specific country, you can still download CAMT.053 or CSV files from BNP and import them in Odoo under Accounting → Bank → Import Statement.

- Recommendation:

If you’re on Odoo Online (SaaS), open a ticket with Odoo Support — they can confirm whether BNP Paribas is available for your country. If you’re self-hosting, you may need to configure Salt Edge manually.
