1. Enable the promotions setting

Make sure the promotions option is enabled in your system.

2. Create a new loyalty program

Select the “Buy X get Y” type.

3. Set up the conditional rules

Configure the rules as shown in the example. In the product section, include the items you want to be part of the promotion.

4. Set up the rewards

Create a reward for each possible combination. Make sure they are correctly displayed in the configuration.

5. Create a reward for each possible option

Test the flow from the Point of Sale (PoS)

Select the eligible products and the promotion will apply automatically.

Important: If the products have different prices, make sure to select the more expensive ones first so that the free product is the cheaper one (the promotion will apply to the second item).

Test the flow from Sales

Create a quotation with the products and select the promotion you want to apply.

Note: This same configuration works for 3-for-2 promotions. You only need to adjust the minimum quantity in the conditional rule and the points granted per paid unit.

Example configuration for a 3-for-2 promotion:

Set the conditional rule to require the purchase of two items and grant .5 points for each paid unit.
