hi, I am new to openerp. I didn't need somme menus for example message menu. some elements under settings menu etc. How to avoid them..... Pls help me

Dear Praveen,
From the interface level, Goto : Settings--->Technical--->User interface---> Menu items..
You will get all the menus listed out there. Select the menu item you want.
Then Edit---> you can see a group tab. In that specify the group for whom you want to show this Menu item. For others, it will be hidden.
