delivery dates on sales order line

Question

Hi there
does anyone know of a module to put delivery dates on sale order lines rather than on the sale order it self ?
and if so does the MRP take that into account ?

The date on the sale order is the "order date"

for the line, you have the "scheduled date" that is computed like this: "order date" + customer lead time (in days). So, in the SO line, you have a number of dsys instead of a date, but it serves the same purpose. If you prefer to record a date instead of a number of days, you should check community modules on http://apps.openerp.com [1]

The "scheduled date" is used in mrp and inventory operation as you would expect it.
