Which version are you using? If you have CE, there is hardly any reporting and you'll need to install a module that provides reports. 

On EE, you can have several reports, select which journals need to be taken into account, and set the period for the report.

   You will need to customize the reporting. This exactly was the requirements of one of my customers recently who is selling services and products through POS as well through direct sales. 

we have integrated sales and POS modules in order to get the reporting streamlined. Additionally, it is less likely to expect such cross module features from Odoo's default releases as its a modular architecture.  Hope this helps.
