There is nothing wrong in your set-up.

But you drag branch from developement to staging at time it will moved in staging envierement not duplicated.

The basic flow of odoo.sh is there where 3 mian envierement
1) Production
2) Staging
3) Developemnt

NOTE :It is based on purchased package from odoo.sh

- In Developement you can create many branches to commit your developement
- In staging envierement you can set up database from production and merge development branch to test your code with database.
- Once it will work fine you can merge staging to production.
