Challenges: The primary challenge at hand was to streamline and consolidate the management of the purchasing, inventory, sales, and accounting aspects of the business, along with facilitating robust Business Intelligence (BI) reporting. Given the absence of a comprehensive ERP solution, most of the day-to-day operations were being conducted either directly through the Amazon platform or by relying on Excel spreadsheets.
Odoo solution: Odoo's standard modules were employed to fulfill various needs such as inventory, barcode management, accounting, purchasing, manufacturing, dashboard, and project management. In addition, a custom Amazon connector module was implemented to handle all aspects of sales related to Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA). This includes tasks such as importing sales orders into Odoo, generating shipment reports, retrieving real-time inventory data, managing stock adjustments, and generating settlement reports.
