EPC & Turnkey SolutionsCORE executes full-spectrum EPC contracts including concept development, FEED and detailed design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and performance handover. As an EPC contractor CORE's responsibilities include:
Preparation and management of engineering deliverables (discipline-wise drawings, data sheets, calculations and design reports).
Procurement, expediting, inspection and factory acceptance testing (FAT) of long-lead and critical equipment.
Site civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and automation installation works.
Integrated mechanical completion and pre-commissioning scope, followed by commissioning and performance testing.
Preparation of O&M manuals, spare parts lists, operator training programs for handover.
CORE structures EPC execution with defined interfaces, as an integrated project organization chart, and single-point coordination to limit risk and speed decision-making
Mechanical & Piping Systems
Capabilities include full mechanical scope for process and utility systems:
Process piping (carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex, alloy piping) with welding procedures and NDT as required (RT, UT, MT).
Pumping stations: selection, skid-mounting, installation, alignment, and vendors' supervision for centrifugal, submersible, and positive displacement pumps.
Pressure vessels, storage tanks, heat exchangers, and HVAC systems.
Insulation, testing (hydrostatic, pneumatic where applicable), and pigging/flush activities for piping systems.
Piping design adheres to ASME B31.1/B313.3 standards or relevant local equivalents.
Civil & Structural Works
CORE performs comprehensive civil and structural scopes, including but not limited to:
Earthworks, excavation, backfill and compaction.
Reinforced concrete structures: foundations, equipment plinths, retaining walls, platforms, and buildings.
Structural steel supply, fabrication and erection (in
compliance with relevant codes).
Roadworks, drainage, and utilities integration.
All civil and structural works are executed per applicable codes (AASHTO/EN/BS/local authority standards) with engineering calculations, shop drawings, and QA-controlled inspections.
Electrical Systems & Power Distribution
CORE provides medium and low-voltage power systems delivery, including:
Power distribution design and installation (transformers, switchboards, MCCs, distribution panels).
Cable routing, tray systems, lighting protection, and surge protection design/implementation.
Integration with Al Nisf Switchgear and Transformer factories when customized or rapid supply is required.
Electrical designs conform to IEC standards and local utility requirements (MEW, KOC, KNPC where applicable).
Building Services & MEP
CORE provides comprehensive MEP capability for buildings and facilities:
HVAC systems (AHUs, chillers, ducting, controls).
Plumbing and drainage, domestic water systems, and sanitary installations.
Fire protection systems: design and installation of detection systems, hydrants, sprinklers, and FM-200/CO2 systems where requested.
Lighting design and supply (in coordination with Al Nisf Lighting Factory), emergency lighting and power backup systems.
MEP design & installation complies with relevant building and client requirements.
Instrumentation, Control & Automation
CORE delivers instrumentation and automation solutions tailored to process and utility control:
Instrument selection, loop diagrams, cable schedules, and installation.
PLC programming HMI design, and SCADA integration for centralized monitoring and control.
Control system FAT, SAT, commissioning and performance verification.
Integration of distributed control systems (DCS) and third-party vendor systems where required.
Automation engineering follows ISA, IEC 61131 (PLC standards) and industry best-practice for cyber-aware deployments.
Water & Wastewater Packages
CORE has a specific capability in water/wastewater process delivery including:
Design, supply and installation of chlorination packages and chemical dosing skids (including storage, dosing pumps, metering, and containment).
Treatment process equipment: filters, clarifiers, dosing systems, disinfection systems, and associated instrumentation.
Pumping stations, wet walls, sewer networks, and associated civil/mechanical works.
Process testing, sample-taking regimes, and quality control to meet client and regulatory discharge standards.
All process works follow recognized treatment design criteria and project-specific performance guarantees.
Specialized Packages & Skid-Mounted Solutions
CORE delivers packaged and skid-mounted solutions for accelerated deployment:
Chemical dosing and metering skids (fabrication, factory testing, integration).

Project execution plan (PEP), method statements, construction schedules, and resource-loaded P6 schedules.
Procurement packages, vendor data, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and FAT documentation.
QA/QC records, NDT reports, MTRs (material test reports), and commissioning certificates.
O&M manuals, as-built drawings, and operator training records.
Standards, Codes & Compliance
CORE's technical work is governed by adherence to applicable international and local codes including but not limited to:
ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 (Quality, Environment, Health and Safety systems).
IEC, IEC 60076 (Transformers), ISA standards (Instrumentation), ASME and API for pressure systems, and ASME B31 piping codes.
Local regulations: MEW, KOC, KNPC, and other client-specific standards.
