Also, have you manually checked whether the cookie banner from ccm19 actually blocks the cookies, or does it just inform users like many banners tend to do? If it does block cookies, is this done automatically, or did you have to set up the blocking manually?

Odoo 18 cookie consent solution is really a step forward, but the cookiebanner itself and the solution is unfortunatly still not compliant to EU regulations.

I saw that talk, but the standard Odoo cookie banner does not fully comply with EU regulations regarding cookie usage and consent. Additionally, if you're looking to do advanced marketing and tracking with your e-commerce or website, the solution proposed in the talk isn't sufficient.

This is deffenitely not compliant to EU regulations.
Furthermore, the Meta Pixel captures multiple user interaction and form inputs without user consent, and send'ts it to different domains than the one the user is visiting.
