Hello Community,


we are using Odoo Online 17 Standard.


Our main focus is on After-Sales/Customer Service, where we invoice the worked hours. We would like to implement a feature where our customers not only receive their invoice but also a timesheet via email, preferably automated.


To achieve this, I have customized the standard invoice sending template and attached an additional dynamic report (Timesheet). However, this does not have any effect on the invoice sending process.


Is this a configuration error or a bug in the software? Other reports/attachments are considered during sending (e.g., for quotes).

Hello Jorn,

we have found that the "Send & Print" button is hardcoded. When we open this dialog, only an invoice is generated and sent - nothing more. However, if we send a message (via Chatter) and use the advanced editor there, we have the option to choose a template - this is where the automatic creation of an invoice + hours report works. This also means that we have to create each invoice individually for this result. I have not yet found an automated process to do it bulk.
