Using Flexible Consumption on BOMs and setting most of the BOM required quantities to 0 (zero). This is to allow production to identify what components are necessary during production based on a BOM template. In addition, we are using 2 step picking to manufacturing. When the MO is created the pick components transfer from stock to pre-production is created as expected with the components required. If the MO BOM is edited and any of the 0 quantity components are changed, these are not added to the picker, however if a component is added to the MO BOM, it is added to the picker.
My thought would be that both the changed BOM quantity or the added component should be added to the picker.
