any help on this will be so grateful. I have a project that has 17 tasks, now I have 10 more projects that need the same tasks. How to do I copy tasks from 1 project to another?

You can copy the entire project 10 times. Would that save you time?
You can consider some projects 'templates' that contain the tasks that your different project types will always have by default, then copy then. I keep these projects archived so they don't show up when looking for 'real' projects.
EDIT
To do this:
1. Project --> Configuration --> Projects
2. Open the Project you want to copy.
3. From the Action Menu, choose DUPLICATE
