We receive many ticket through the Helpdesk app and many times we either need to assign the tickets in bulk or change the assignment of the tickets in bulk to someone else. It's time consuming to reassign each ticket individually, is there a way to do this?

Yes, we can assign and reassign tickets easily in the Helpdesk app using the List View:
