I have a customer that has a server running windows 2008 r2 foundation. Could it be a problem? I have tried to find the requirements for a Odoo Installation but I didn' find anything.

Shouldn't give you any problems at all, I have one running on Windows 2012 R2 so thats pretty much the same :)
