I could not find any specs about the supported and recommended architecture scenarios for an odoo v8 architecture with high load, e.g. 6000 users , 140 companies, 200 branches, up to 20 pos transactions per second in total, up to 3 pos transactioons per branch.

I wonder what would be the best way to scale the odoo infrastructure:

->  splitting db and apache tier

->  Is it supported to use loadbalancing (apache tier) and to run the application logic on 1+n server (apache)?

-> do i need to use more than one stack (apache, postgresql) and use synchronization

Are there limitations for the postgresql db for scalabiltiy, due to locks?
