Hi,

I sent a signature request in Odoo Sign to several coworkers, and now I need to change the email address of one of the recipients.

I don't want to resend or modify the other signature requests. However, if I change that person's email in Contacts, Odoo updates the email for all documents linked to that contact, and all related sign requests are affected.

Is there a way to change the email only for that specific sign request (or that specific signer) without changing the email for all other documents and signatures linked to the same contact?

No, there's no direct way to change the email for a single signature request without affecting the contact record.

Odoo Sign requests are linked to the res.partner (contact) record, so changing the email in Contacts updates it across all related documents.

Workaround:

1. Cancel the current signature request for that specific document

2. Create a temporary contact with the new email address (eg, "Test1 - New Email")

3. Resend the signature request to the temporary contact

4. Once signed, you can merge/delete the temporary contact if needed

Alternative: If you only need to change the email temporarily, update the contact's email, complete the signature, then change it back. However, this affects all pending requests during that time
