I have the correct plug-in installed gevent pyhon library, but I have this message · Instant Messaging is not activated on this server. · Where to configure the server to work properly?

I can confirm that https://bitbucket.org/anybox/web_im is working fine under V7.0.
as a proof, I've posted a video showing web_im in action (see under https://bitbucket.org/anybox/web_im/issues/1/just-some-errors or download the video from dropbox https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/10370978/Anybox web_im.mov ).
Try it, and if you encounter any issue, resubmit your questions.
I have my OpenERP repository at /opt/openerp and it is not available at /usr/bin/python-support/python2.7/openerp So, when i try to run using python server.py -d (db_name), it provides import error message.
Traceback (most recent call last): File "/opt/openerp/v7.0/addons/web_socketio/server.py", line 3, in from openerp.addons.web_socketio.web_socketio import SocketIO ImportError: No module named web_socketio.web_socketio
go to openerp/tools/config.py set default value of gevent=True

Hi , could you let us know what module u hv installed ? Because we do not have enough information to comment.
