Hello,

I'm caterer and when I create an delivery order directly (without quotation) the UOM is not the right one.

Example for a BOM "smoothie":

This product is composed of 10 cl of milk

1 - Configure UOM

In settings>Units of Measure Categories>Volume, I define cl like Reference Unit of Measure for this category with ratio equal to 1 and rounding precision equal to 0.1 . I add another UOM in the volume category: bottle 100 cl with ratio equal to 100 and rounding precision equal to 1.

2 - Add product milk

I create the product "Milk bottle 100 cl" with this settings:

  • Can be sold: yes
  • Can be purchased: yes
  • Product type: Storable product
  • Unit of Measure: bottle 100cl
  • Purchase UOM: bottle 100cl

3 - Add BOM Smoothie

Product settings:

  • Can be sold: yes
  • Can be purchased: no
  • Product type: consumable
  • Unit of Measure: Units
  • Purchase UOM: Units

BOM settings:

  • BOM TYPE: KIT
  • Component:
    • MILK
    • Quantity: 10
    • Product unit of measure: cl

Now if I create a delivery note with 10 smoothies it shows me:

  • Product: Milk bottle 100 cl
  • KIT: Smoothie 1/1
  • Demand: 100
  • Unit: cl

Instead of:

  • Product: Milk bottle 100 cl
  • KIT: Smoothie 1/1
  • Demand: 1
  • Unit: bottle 100 cl

What is strange is that if I create a purchase order I have the correct unit of measurement expected but I really need to create delivery order without purchase order.
