In Document App we have "Workspace" Option to manager folder

Create/Update and also to provide access right of read and write


In Odoo 18 what is the process to manage workspace and their Read/Write Access.

Also, this third-party app (https://apps.odoo.com/apps/modules/18.0/cloud_base) in combination with this one (https://apps.odoo.com/apps/modules/18.0/cloud_base_documents) might give flexible tools to manage folders

Just to clarify that this solution has nothing to do with Workspace. It doesn't solve the problem of sharing folders with a group of, for example, employees.

When you select a folder on the left (1) (Table of Contents) use the Cog Menu (2) and select Share (3):


When you select a folder on the right (4) (preview pane) use the Share button (5):


In both cases you will see the popup form:
