i want my customers to have a customized customer id number..so how does odoo generate automatic id when creating a new customer

Hi,
Odoo does not generate a customer ID by default. It only assigns an internal database ID.
To have a customized automatic customer ID, you need to add a custom field on Contacts (res.partner) and fill it using an ir.sequence when a customer is created.
