Hi,

I understand that the first module is free for life, but I would like to know if can I have multiple databases for a single module. How does the licensing work?

Like I want different databases for each department, the example I have 4 departments that will use the helpdesk system, and I want them to be separate like X Department should not see Y Department tickets, that's the reason I am thinking about creating different databases. Without going into customization and easy installation without any additional configurations.

Yes, you can have multiple databases which are free for helpdesk app

However, in your case you should consider using helpdesk teams. While you have the ability to define separate stages, SLA, email alias etc you can also limit the visibility of tickets between departments by assigning team members
