SYNERGY MARINE GROUP DIGITALIZING GLOBAL FLEET & CREW MANAGEMENT Synergy Marine Group manages a large international fleet with thousands of seafarers, operating under strict global maritime regulations. Managing such large-scale operations involved challenges like fragmented vessel data, manual crew scheduling, difficulty in tracking onboard inventory and spare parts, and ensuring continuous compliance with standards such as STCW. Additionally, handling multi-currency payroll, crew rotations, certifications, and voyage-based financial tracking made it difficult to maintain real-time visibility and operational control across global operations. Machinser Group delivered a fully customized ERP solution that unified Synergy Marine’s operations into a single platform. We introduced a “virtual warehouse” concept for each vessel to enable real-time tracking of inventory and consumables, while developing a comprehensive Crew Management System covering crew profiles, onboarding, allocation, transfers, payroll, certifications, contract management, and rotation planning. The system also automated compliance tracking with expiry alerts, integrated HR, accounting, and document management, and enabled Employee Self-Service (ESS) for easier access and workflow approvals. In addition, we implemented preventive maintenance alerts, HSQE workflow automation, and voyage-level P&L tracking to improve technical and financial control. This transformation provided Synergy Marine with a single source of truth across fleet, crew, and finance, significantly reducing manual effort and improving compliance and efficiency. With real-time dashboards, advanced reporting, and seamless integration across departments, Synergy Marine now operates with enhanced visibility, reduced downtime, and a scalable, data-driven system that supports its position as a global leader in maritime asset management.
